The future belongs to people who move. Those who do not transform themselves and have breakthroughs are left behind.
It is not so much about transforming from a caterpillar to a butterfly as it is about transforming from a caterpillar to a butterfly to a bird to a tiger to a human to an alien and back again, over and over again as the situation requires. This world is changing so fast that what worked 2 years ago may not work today. And what works today may not work tomorrow.
That is why it’s so important to move fast. Change can happen in an instant. Knowledge is useful, but mental agility is paramount. And nowhere is this more important than in the area of transforming your beliefs.
I’m not talking about changing your religion here. I’m talking about your core beliefs of how the world is, how the world works, and how people are. Beliefs such as “people only like perfect-looking people” or “it is ungodly to make money” or “women over 35 can’t find love” or “the key to success is doing what your parents did.” Contrary to popular opinion, you can change your beliefs. And this allows you far greater freedom in life than just sticking with the beliefs you were born and raised with.
So expand your horizons. Get around people who think differently from you and get different results. Observe what works and what doesn’t work, and learn to observe yourself and change accordingly. NLP, tapping, meditation, yoga, shamanic journeying, and spiritual practices of all kinds can help you transform your beliefs, as can simply hanging out with and talking to other people who have achieved the things you want.
